  • r0bs3n13 posted: 07 Mar at 10:15 am

    Tables are outdated. You’re not supposed to use tables. Rather use DIVs, way better!

  • danny3man posted: 08 Mar at 6:29 am

    hey adam i have a question : let`s take that nice sauce background that you make …..how can you make it to look the same in a 800X600 monitor and in one 1920X1080 monitor…i mean how can you make it expand …but have the same image quality.i think it would be very nice if you could show us how to do that with this background .thx

  • kasp84 posted: 08 Mar at 6:33 am

    @danny3man google “liquid layout css”
    use % instead of px to set value for widths

  • danny3man posted: 08 Mar at 7:58 am

    yeah but i also need to set the height….and if i make image in fireworks for example ….how big do i need to make it …because if i make it 800X600 on 1680 or 1920X1080 i think it will look streched and ugly ….anyway thx and i will google that shit :) thx again

    Hi Adam i like all of ur tuts. U make it very easy for the beginners like me. Possible to make a tutorial like this for flash cs4 too?

  • TheArmogohma posted: 08 Mar at 1:17 pm

    Please explain CSS Drop-Down Menus.

  • bluescanfly1981 posted: 08 Mar at 1:36 pm

    Not sure I like the clear gif idea, why not use an hx element with the text and then hide it with CSS? it would be semantic and still render in agents like screen readers…

  • flashbuilding posted: 09 Mar at 3:51 am

    I don’t know if you can stop a background CSS file from distorting and blurring on dynamic resize. I just make my backgrounds huge, optimized jpg, so it looks decent in most screens. And stays crispy.

  • danny3man posted: 09 Mar at 7:19 am

    and for example if i make an 1650X1050 optimized jpg, someone with an 800X600 px monitor tries to see my site …that background will be resized to dimensions of his monitor ?
